The public forum is the default for everyone, paid or free. Other shops running PowerFab every day get first crack at the question, and FabIS answers in public where the next person with the same problem can find it.

Free, and not a trial

Community costs nothing and it does not expire. You do not have to be a FabIS client, or become one, to use it.

The forum is closed to the public. Only approved shops can see it, so there's no spam to wade through to find an answer.

Answers stay put

Threads are searchable and stay that way once they are closed. An answer given once is an answer everybody has.

Import the combined material for a subbed-out package straight from the fabricator's PowerFab into the sub-fabricator's, so nobody keys it in again. Then station completions and shipping flow back, and the GC sees the work move without anyone typing it twice. Building the package only reads PowerFab; nothing is written until you say so.
